In the past, Clyvanor and Freneco each stood out in their respective regions, building strong reputations in wood structures. Once competitors, and later sister companies, it became natural to unite them under a stronger, more coherent brand that reflects the level of expertise they have built over the years.
At the same time, Fabrik developed as a specialist in modular construction. By combining this expertise with a group already recognized for structural performance, NexFab has created a unique offering in the market: a structural company that also masters modular construction, with an integrated, fast and rigorous approach.
Over time, the combined strengths of these three companies called for a new name — one that reflects innovation, precision and quality: NexFab.

Freneco is founded in Portneuf, specializing in wood structures
1977
Clyvanor is founded in Saint-Georges (Beauce), specializing in wood structures
2000
Start of prefabricated wall manufacturing
2001
Construction of a new roof truss and joist manufacturing plant in Saint-Georges (several expansions followed)
2003
Expansion of the main plant to include wall production
2008
Creation of Clyvanor Corp., a production facility in the United States to meet growing demand
2012
Fabrik is founded, specializing in modular prefabrication
2020
Beginning of a major transformation focused on robotics and process optimization
2021
Launch of the first robotic production line

Acquisition of Freneco by Clyvanor

Consolidation of expertise and development of technology projects, including an internal ERP system
